Ctrl + c: A critical making session

This critical making session proposes to investigate and rethink the notion of control (ctrl) as an inherent part of HCI (human computer interaction) and more specifically during design processes. Using metaphors of the command line, ctrl-key combinations as well as actual remote and game controllers we will explore spaces of friction enabled by interaction of humans and computers and develop strategies to force exit (ctrl+c) the persuasive convenience of contemporary GUI’s (Graphic User Interfaces).
